Hello! Welcome to the final cut of the dog documentary I’ve been working on. After several weeks of patient editing, interviewing, and footage gathering it’s finally here.
This is the story of a small family trying to make it in an old Little House on the Prairie-style America. The twist is that everyone in this world ages backward, creating new challenges in an already dangerous world.
This is a character I’ve been thinking about since possibly elementary school. I’ve created a whole world for myself to explore in my writing. This will showcase the first story in that universe—more specifically, an early rendition of it. Plus, at the end of this post is a rough character design draft. Be warned that there are very dark themes and graphic violence, and language.
This project on this current day isn’t entirely done, but I wanted to share some early iterations. This is a documentary shot in a way that is meant to feel homemade and down to earth. It follows a schnauzer rescue, which includes my family and me, as they travel across a couple of states in cargo vans to rescue 23 dogs.
